Nitin Gadkari Faints on Stage During Election Rally in Yavatmal

BJP Leader Collapses Due to Heat, Chopper AC Issues

Yavatmal, Maharashtra

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari fainted on stage on Thursday, April 14, while addressing an election rally in Yavatmal, Maharashtra. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader collapsed in the scorching heat and was rushed to a nearby hospital.

According to reports, Gadkari complained of dizziness and discomfort before collapsing. The organizers blamed the incident on a combination of the intense heat and a malfunctioning air conditioning system in the helicopter that had brought Gadkari to the rally.

Gadkari was initially taken to a local hospital in Yavatmal but was later transferred to a private hospital in Nagpur for further treatment. His condition is said to be stable, and sources close to the leader said he is expected to be discharged soon.

Gadkari's fainting incident has cast a shadow over the ongoing Lok Sabha election campaign in Maharashtra, where the BJP is facing a tough challenge from the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and the Congress. Gadkari is a key campaigner for the BJP and his sudden health scare has raised concerns about his ability to participate in the remaining rallies.

The BJP has expressed concern over Gadkari's health and has wished him a speedy recovery. Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Gadkari over the phone and inquired about his well-being. The BJP has also clarified that Gadkari's fainting was not related to any underlying medical condition.
