Anthony Edwards and Rudy Gobert Lead the Pack
The Minnesota Timberwolves have released their official roster for the 2023-24 season, and it features a number of familiar faces as well as some new additions.
Anthony Edwards, who averaged 24.7 points per game last season, is back to lead the Wolves at shooting guard. He will be joined in the backcourt by D'Angelo Russell, who was acquired in a trade with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Up front, Rudy Gobert will be the anchor of the Wolves' defense. He was acquired in a blockbuster trade with the Utah Jazz and is one of the best rim protectors in the league.
The Timberwolves also added Kyle Anderson and Austin Rivers in free agency. Anderson is a versatile forward who can play multiple positions, while Rivers is a veteran guard who provides leadership and experience.
With a solid core of players in place, the Timberwolves are hoping to make a deep playoff run in 2023-24.
