Brianna Burrell Crowned Miss Alabama

Birmingham, Alabama:

Brianna Burrell has been named Miss Alabama 2023.

The 25-year-old Burrell was crowned Saturday night at Samford University's Wright Center Auditorium. She represented Baldwin County and won the evening gown preliminary on Wednesday night. Burrell is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she studied nursing. She is currently working as a registered nurse at a local hospital. As Miss Alabama, Burrell will compete for the title of Miss America in December.

The Miss Alabama competition is a preliminary to the Miss America pageant. The winner of the Miss Alabama competition represents the state of Alabama at the Miss America pageant.
